Doja Cat Throws A Wild Slumber Party

Doja Cat recently featured on The Late Late Show With James Corden to perform her chart topping hit, ‘Say So’.

There’s a lot to say about the set, because it was honestly the perfect embodiment of all things Doja Cat. From her feathery outfit to the glittery curtains, neon pink lighting and sign that glowed the words, ‘Girls,Girls,Girls’ – we’re convinced that Doja could throw the finest, most thrilling slumber party. The neon lighting also ended up setting the mood for the track, perfectly.

Now, just to remind you, the remixed version of ‘Say So’ is still soaring through charts world over. It features Nicki Minaj, in a feisty verse, and this power packed collab skyrocketed the girls to the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. This marked the first time both artists managed to score this win.

Doja Cat vs. Social Media

Now, while Doja appears to be doing extremely well on the musical front, we can’t say the same for her social media presence. A few weeks back, Doja’s past racist tweets were dug up, once again playing into the toxic cancel culture. After issuing yet another apology, the artist did not return to Twitter – that is, until a few days ago. Trollers fired questions at Doja, asking her why she returned to Twitter, her responses started off mildly, “because I like to write stuff.” But soon escalated, after a Twitter user claimed she didn’t apologize for her actions. “FINE…. I’m…… I’m…….. sorry that I couldn’t see sooner that you’re a f**king loser pleb with micro c**k f*ck off chump,” Doja tweeted.

Yup, you might need a minute to let that sink in. While Doja might have responded too harshly, it’s also quite crude to keep harping on her past mistakes. Especially after she’s apologized numerous times for it. Anyway, here’s hoping that this issue will be resolved soon. And that Doja will continue to put out more fabulous tunes.
