Doja Cat Remixed Weeknd’s ‘In Your Eyes’, Listen

Its been only days since Pitchfork declared Doja Cat the indisputable queen of Tik Tok, saying her reign is unimpeachable.

Now Doja Cat is back in the news for having remixed The Weeknd’s ‘In Your Eyes’ and giving it her own special touch.

In the song’s remix we see the rapper singing in her melodic voice and giving us a side of her that that matches the pain and romantic love that Weeknd brings out with the original ‘In Your Eyes’.

After a very quick intro, she only comes in at the second verse in the song and adds, “I never lied when I cried for you / And I know you cried, too (Know you cried, too).”

And gradually the OG Doja Cat we know and love comes out giving us her own stylings when she comes in to rap “One day, I’m giving you space / And the next day, you’re giving me faces / And I like parties, not displaces / Comin’ out of my bag for you to get wasted”

Yup, this is a whole new sassy spin on things, and we are here for it!

Many other songs from ‘After Hours’ have been remixed by other artists like  Lil Uzi Vert, Chromatics, Oneohtrix Point Never, and Major Lazer. This is a latest edition in the list.

Doja Cat also went up to No. 1 on the Billboards this week with Nicki Minaj with a whole different remix. ‘Say So’ was rapped on by Nicki and the duo made headlines.

What a week for Doja Cat, and what a month for remixes indeed!
