Drake Calls Out Haters in New Song ‘Another Late Night’

Canadian rapper Drake, renowned for his distinctive fusion of hip-hop, R&B and pop elements, as well as his deeply introspective and emotionally relatable lyrics, recently treated his fans with the release of his new album, ‘For All the Dogs’ and new music video for ‘Another Late Night.’ However, amid the joyous celebration surrounding this release, Drake surprised his fan base with a rather unexpected announcement of a mental break hiatus.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Sound 42, Drake candidly acknowledged the need to address persistent stomach problems that have plagued him for an extended period. He expressed a genuine commitment to his well-being, stating, “I probably won’t make music for a little bit. I’m gonna be real with you: I need to focus on my health, first and foremost. … Nothing crazy, but just, like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life.”

The news of Drake’s musical hiatus comes as a shock to many, as he has been a consistent presence in the music industry, releasing a string of highly successful albums and singles over the years. His most recognisable works include ‘Take Care,’ ‘Nothing Was the Same,’ ‘Views’ and ‘Scorpion,’ which have made him a beloved artist around the globe.

In his latest album, ‘For All the Dogs,’ Drake addresses a range of topics, including past controversies. One specific track in the album, ‘Another Late Night,’ addresses the issue of his friendship with Millie Bobby Brown, which had raised eyebrows due to their significant age difference. Drake had previously been regarded as “a great friend and a great role model” by the young actress, but this drew attention and questions from the public.

Back in 2018, Millie Bobby Brown addressed these concerns by stating that it felt “weird” to focus on their “lovely friendship” rather than addressing more pressing real-world issues. She expressed her gratitude for the amazing people in her life and asserted her independence by saying, “You don’t get to choose that for me.”

In ‘Another Late Night,’ Drake takes a similar approach by addressing the “weirdos” in his comments who had been discussing Millie Bobby Brown. He dismisses their commentary with his characteristic lyrical flair, envisioning what would happen if these “weirdos” were to confront his inner circle.

Drake’s decision to take a break from music to focus on his health has left fans both surprised and concerned, while his latest album, ‘For All the Dogs,’ continues to explore various themes.
