Drake made sure his son Adonis’ 7th birthday was one to remember!
The rapper, 37, celebrated his son’s big day with a fun-filled SpongeBob SquarePants-themed party, sharing some adorable father-son moments on Instagram. Drake posted two sweet photos to commemorate the milestone.
The pictures showed Drake and Adonis in a Bikini Bottom-inspired setting, complete with jellyfish and flower-shaped clouds from the iconic cartoon. A SpongeBob-themed banner read, “Adonis’ 7th Birthday.” In the first photo, Adonis, dressed in a SpongeBob-yellow shirt, looked like a mini version of his dad as they both posed with serious expressions. In the second, the pair smiled brightly, with Drake hugging his son tightly.

Drake captioned the post, “Big Don. 💘.” The rapper shares Adonis with French artist Sophie Brussaux. After confirming his paternity in 2018, Drake and Brussaux worked towards a positive co-parenting relationship. Drake even called himself the “co-parent of the year” in his song ‘Champagne Poetry.’
Adonis splits his time between living with his mom in France and visiting Drake in Los Angeles and Toronto. The father-son duo often sits courtside at NBA games together, and Adonis has become involved in his dad’s career, even creating the cover art for Drake’s album *For All the Dogs* and starring in music videos.

In October 2023, Adonis followed in his father’s footsteps, releasing his first rap song, ‘My Man,’ which he performed at his 6th birthday party. Earlier in the year, Drake marked Father’s Day by sharing a series of photos with Adonis and his own father, Dennis. One shot showed the three generations posing in cowboy hats, while another featured a playful car selfie.
