Drake quoted rival Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ in response to an impersonator dancing to ‘Hotline Bling’.

Over the past weekend, a video of a Drake impersonator dancing to ‘Hotline Bling’ at a boxing event in New York went viral on social media. The real Drake soon reacted to the clip on social media, quoting a lyric from Lamar’s diss track ‘Not Like Us.’

“Sometimes you gotta pop out,” Drake wrote in an Instagram Story

Drake has remained active since his diss track exchange with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year. In a recent interview with People, Drake’s collaborator Gordo commented on the situation, stating that the rapper remained unfazed by it all.

Drake recently featured on two new songs from Gordo’s latest album ‘Diamante’, titled ‘Sideways’ and ‘Healing’.

Last week, Drake shared footage of his flooded mansion after torrential rain hit Toronto. This news came shortly after the rapper had allowed fans to take a virtual tour of his residence through a new feature on his merch website.

Earlier this year, his home also made headlines when a man was arrested for attempting to break into the building, just a day after a shooting occurred outside the residence. This incident followed the house being featured on the cover of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’.

In other news, Nick Mason has expressed his desire to use AI to create new Pink Floyd songs. In a recent interview with The Sunday Mirror (via Music News), the drummer discussed the potential for an AI-assisted Pink Floyd reunion. David Gilmour had declared the band to be over in 2015, saying that the iconic prog-rock group had “run its course.”
