Drake’s Custom Necklace Symbolises The 42 Times he Nearly Proposed

Drake has a new necklace, and it isn’t just any ordinary piece of jewellery. It is a necklace worth $12.5 million that has 42 diamonds from all the rings he didn’t propose with. For every single time Drake thought of proposing to his partner, but ended up not doing it for some reason, he put a diamond into this huge necklace. This necklace symbolises all the love lost and it is called ‘Previous Engagements’. It is made by the jewellery designer, Alex Moss. 

Alex posted a video of the necklace on Instagram with a voiceover that talks about the creation of the necklace in detail. The video states, “every diamond hand selected, inspected to only suit perfection.” Moss claimed that the necklace was designed and created over a period of 14 long months. Neither has Drake commented on the necklace, nor has he suggested who the diamonds were for in any way. 

Apart from this, Drake has also been associated with the ‘Drake Curse’ wherein the rapper has gotten a long-standing reputation for being a bad luck charm for the football teams after having posted pictures with them. However, that did not impact Argentina in the FIFA final where even though Drake had bet on Argentina, the South American team stood victorious against France in the penalty shootout. 

Drake has been associated with multiple big names in the past, which include Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid, Jorja Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Serena Williams, Nicki Minaj and Tyra Banks. However, no one knows who these 42 diamonds were for, and Drake has not yet made a statement about the same.
