Drake's Rehearsal of Michael Jackson's 'Rock With You' Featured in '100 Gigs' Archive

Footage of Drake rehearsing a cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘Rock With You’ has surfaced from his 100gigs.org collection, a newly released archive containing 100GB of fresh content.

On 6th August, the rapper launched a website packed with archived footage, data, and three previously unheard songs.

Among the content is a video of Drake rehearsing ‘Rock With You,’ where he can be seen performing on a lit-up floor reminiscent of Jackson’s iconic ‘Billie Jean’ video.

Complex reports that the 8-minute clip of Drake’s rendition of ‘Rock With You’ includes elements from ‘Don’t Matter To Me,’ a track from his 2018 album ‘Scorpion’ featuring vocals from an unused Michael Jackson session.

The footage likely comes from backstage during the Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour, which followed the release of both Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ and Migos’ ‘Culture II’.

According to Rolling Stone, the 100GB archive also includes footage of Drake rehearsing with Rihanna for a live performance of ‘Take Care,’ clips of him recording his verse for Kanye West’s ‘Yikes,’ as well as unreleased songs and extended versions of previously released tracks.

The project, invites fans to journey back to 1974, when McCartney’s band was working on the live studio album ‘One Hand Clapping’. Recorded in August of that year, while Wings were in their seventh consecutive week at the top of the UK album charts with ‘Band On The Run,’ the film captures the band during their time at Abbey Road Studios, where they were working on a documentary and a potential live studio album.
