Dua Lipa Announces Her New Album “Future Nostalgia”
The 24 year old English singer, Dua Lipa revealed her second studio album in an Instagram post, flaunting a tattoo which says,”Future Nostalgia”. Dua released the lead single “Don’t Start Now” from her upcoming album last month. The song which is about moving on from an ex lover, peaked at number 30 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. In an interview the singer discussed the concept behind the upcoming album, saying: “What I wanted to do with this album was to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favourite classic pop songs.”
The “New Rules” singer, who recently performed with Katy Perry in Mumbai, is also slated to kick off her Future Nostalgia World Tour in 2020. The first drop of the tour is anticipated to begin its journey starting from Spain next April. The singer tweeted: “FUTURE NOSTALGIA TOUR- FISRT DROP OF THE WORLD TOUR-EU 2020-COME SEE ME IN A CITY NEAR YOU. TIX ON SALE THIS FRIDAY VIA DUA LIPA .COM”
Dua attended this year’s American Music Awards with her new beau, Anwar Hadid and also performed “Don’t Start Now” with hints of improvement ahead of her ubiquitous “awkward dance moves”. One gushed: “She literally listened to every criticism and mashed it up for her to be the best. This is a slap.”
