Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Tainy & J Balvin: Dream Collaboration

On July 21, 2020, The ‘Physical’ singer gave us a sneak-peek at a song by the dream team, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Tainy & J Balvin. The singer posted a video on her social media that gave fans a little tease of her new record ‘Un Dia [One Day]’.

The video on Dua Lipa’s page has a movie-like trailer feel to it and fans can’t stop appreciating it. The thirty-second video has underwater graphics with bold captions flashing across the screen. Lucky for us, we don’t have to wait too long! The caption of the post says that the record will be “COMING THIS THURSDAY 8 PM EST”.

With the artist names announced for this record, fans are speculating that this Dua Lipa song is likely to be a Latin/Spanish banger. Even though this may be different from Dua’s usual style, fans all over the world can’t hold in their excitement!

What has left fans confused and thrilled at the same time is a graphic that said “starring Ursula Corbero”. Yes, you read that right the first time! If you’re living under a rock, Ursula Corbero is the actress that plays ‘Tokyo’ in the Netflix hit series ‘Money Heist’. What she’s doing on a Dua Lipa track? This remains a mystery.

The video on Dua Lipa’s page has a beat playing in the back with credit-like graphics flashing across. Adding to the star-studded line-up, the track will feature NEON 16 as the ‘executive producer’. The video also credits 21-year-old Colombian ‘Stillz’ as the director.

J Balvin and Bad Bunny’s smash hit with Cardi B, ‘I Like It‘ proves that there’s no messing around when they team up! With that track record, (no pun intended) and with Dua Lipa hopping on, there’s no telling how big this record will be!

This will be the first release from the ‘New Rules’ singer after her album ‘Future Nostalgia’ released earlier this year. Dua Lipa recently became the first female artist to have 4 songs with over 1 billion streams. Will this become her 5th? Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and watch.
