Dua Lipa’s ‘Barbie’ Track ‘Dance The Night’ is Out Now!

Barbie is all set to “Dance the Night” away! Dua Lipa debuted the disco-tinged track just three days after she announced her brand-new song ‘Dance the Night’ off ‘Barbie: The Album’. The chorus has a catchy line that she sings, “Watch me dance the night away / My heart could be burnin’ but you won’t see it on my face / Watch me dance, dance the night away / I still keep the party running.”

Lipa posted a video on Instagram with the caption, ‘This Barbie has a song coming this week… FRIDAY MIDNIGHT BST’, in which she can be seen stepping out of a pair of fluffy heels, resembling the image of Margot Robbie’s arched foot in the Barbie trailer, and blowing a kiss to the camera over the gleaming, dance floor-ready beat of the song.

Alongside Margot Robbie’s Barbie and Ryan Gosling’s Ken, Lipa will play a mermaid doll in Greta Gerwig’s much awaited Barbie live-action movie.

The soundtrack for the movie, which was executive produced by Mark Ronson, features confirmed performances by Charli XCX, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, FIFTY FIFTY, Dominic Fike, GAYLE, Ava Max, Karol G, Khalid, The Kid LAROI and more musicians. A place in Barbie’s playlist for the song ‘Boy’s A Liar’ is credited to PinkPantheress and Ice Spice as well. At the time of publication, the complete track list was not made available but we can’t wait to see what is in store for us!
