The turnout is a promising indicator for the upcoming MMO, which officially releases on 5^th June. Announced back in 2022, Dune Awakening enters the scene during a resurgence in interest around the Dune franchise. Thanks to the success of Denis Villeneuve’s modern film adaptations, including Dune: Part Two, the world of Arrakis is once again front and center in pop culture.
