Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Full Circle Moment’ at Alma Mater: Shares Hilarious Advice With College Students

Dwayne Johnson, known for his role in ‘Black Adam’, revisited his alma mater, the University of Miami, during Canes Fest. The 52-year-old actor and former college football player had a nostalgic moment as he interacted with incoming freshmen, gifting them his Papatui men’s skincare and grooming products. Johnson saw this as a meaningful full-circle moment, reflecting on his own college days while connecting with the new students.

In a video posted by Johnson, several freshmen were seen trying out the Papatui products at a booth set up for the event. The students gave enthusiastic feedback, expressing their positive impressions of the brand.

Johnson was pleased with the gesture, stating, “It’s a cool full-circle moment to gift our Miami incoming freshmen their PAPATUI so they can take better care of themselves as they start their college journey.”

In addition to the product giveaway, Johnson offered some humorous advice to the new students. His message was light-hearted yet practical: “Study hard, have fun, and don’t get too drunk on Thursday nights because you still have class on Friday!” Johnson, who played football for the University of Miami starting in 1991, reflected on his freshman year, humorously recalling the basic living conditions and the rigorous football practices.

Beyond his playful advice, Johnson has shared valuable life lessons with his fans. In an April interview with PEOPLE, he spoke about his mother’s unwavering support during his troubled teenage years. She always believed in his potential, even when he faced legal troubles, and encouraged him to trust his instincts. Johnson also reminisced about his youthful misdeeds, jokingly advising his past self to return to a 7-Eleven in Hawaii, buy all the Snickers bars, and pay for them, leaving them for others to enjoy.
