Elton John Has Wrapped Up His Final Tour

Elton John concluded his farewell tour in Stockholm with his evergreen classic, ’Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’.

The 76-year old has won 5 Grammy Awards in his dynamic musical career of 5 decades. It is also estimated that he has had more than 4,600 performances, worldwide. “It’s been my lifeblood to play for you guys, and you’ve been absolutely magnificent,” he told the audience at Sweden’s Tele2 Arena.

The famed music master, entered the stage to a thunderous applause and began his grand finale concert shortly after 8 o’clock. He was dressed in a tailcoat adorned with shimmering rhinestones and flashed his signature huge red glasses.

He started with his timeless classic, ‘Bennie and the Jets’ and captivated the audience from the very first moment. Following that, he effortlessly transitioned into people favorites like, ‘Philadelphia Freedom’ and ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues’.
