Elton John’s Last Tour ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ Will End in July

English musician Elton John is currently on his last tour called ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’. It started in Allentown, Pennsylvania in September 2018, and it will finish in Stockholm, Sweden in July 2023. More than 300 concerts have been held all around the world on what is said to be John’s farewell tour. John’s 1973 album ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ was referred to in both the tour’s name and its promotional artwork. The tour has earned $887 million from 309 performances as of May 2023, making it the highest-earning tour ever.

The tour by Elton John seems to have been going on forever, and in a way it has been. However, John swears, it’ll be over for good.

“I can tell you now that this is it,” he shared during an interview. “I will not be devoid of music, but as far as schlepping around the world doing shows, I don’t want to do it anymore. I’ve done it since I was 17.”

Although John wishes to wind things up with his tours, his music career has had a significant comeback in recent years. Both his first No. 1 song from the 1970s, ‘Your Song,’ and his most recent No. 1 smash, ‘Cold Heart’ featuring Dua Lipa, are on his setlist.
