January has been flooded with a string of new songs and albums, but perhaps the most exciting release so far has been Eminem’s latest album, ‘Music To Be Murdered By’. This was mainly because he offered his fans no warning before dropping the album.
And now, the rapper has notched his historic 10th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 charts with this new project. He’s also earned 279,000 equivalent album in the U.S. alone within just a week and that itself is quite a milestone to reach.
And it doesn’t end there, this album’s also landed at the top of both the US Soundscan charts and the UK Top 40 Album chart, making it the only act in the UK album chart history that has managed to land as many chart-topping albums in a row. Apart from the album, one of his singles titled ‘Godzilla,’ featuring Juice WRLD also did exceedingly well on the charts!
Now, speaking of fantastic collabs, Eminem hasn’t shied away from tying up with a number of other impressive artists. This album’s been produced by not only Eminem but Dr Dre too and the 20-tracks listed features legends like Anderson Paak, Ed Sheeran, the late Juice WRLD, Skylar Grey, Black Thought of The Roots, Q-Tip, Don Toliver, Joell Ortiz and many more. Yup, that’s already quite the star cast he’s got there.
Well, we really don’t mind if he drops more music out of the blue, but we’ll still be watching him very carefully through the rest of 2020!
