The amazing Zendaya!

When Zendaya won lead actress in a drama, for her depiction of the damaged but charismatic Rue in Euphoria, she made history twice! Not only is she the first Black woman to get this honour twice, but at 26 years old, she is also the youngest actor to ever win two Emmys. And much like her performance, her acceptance speech, which she dedicated to “everyone who has loved a Rue or feels like you are a Rue,” was flawless.

Ted Lasso

The incredibly endearing soccer sitcom earned four more Emmys in addition to the seven it already had from the previous year, including a second trophy for outstanding comedy series. Jason Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein, who made sure to use the F-bomb in his victory speech for the second year in a row, also received repeat victories. Don’t ever alter, Roy Kent.
