‘Enola Holmes 3’ Is Being Helmed by ‘Boiling Point’ Director
One of Netflix’s most notable achievements is the ‘Enola Holmes’ franchise, which gives the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ universe a new perspective and provides a significant platform for Millie Bobby Brown, star of ‘Stranger Things’. After ‘Enola Holmes 2’ was well received in 2022, fans have been anxiously anticipating information regarding a third instalment. Now that Philip Barantini has been chosen to helm ‘Enola Holmes 3’, things are picking up steam.
Following the conclusion of ‘Stranger Things’ final season, Brown is anticipated to return to her role as the show’s title investigator. The picture is supported by Legendary Entertainment, which also includes Brown returning as a producer along with Mary Parent, Ali Mendes, and Alex Garcia. Despite not being well-known yet, Barantini is a good choice to direct Enola’s next adventure because of his action-thriller filmography, which includes ‘Accused’ and ‘Villain’.

The new movie is anticipated to have a darker tone than its predecessors, while particular story points are still unknown. The third instalment, ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’, which explored more mature topics, has been compared to this tonal shift. Given that Enola is now a more accomplished investigator, the shift in focus appears appropriate for the development of her persona.
The reappearance of Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, whose relationship with Brown has been a fan favourite of the series, is one unanswered question. Although Cavill’s involvement has not yet been confirmed, this sequel might concentrate on Enola handling a case by herself given his burgeoning celebrity status.

Fans can watch the first two ‘Enola Holmes’ movies on OTT while they wait for additional information. Brown’s next appearance before Enola returns is in ‘The Electric State’, a Russo Brothers film that will stream on OTT in March.
