Farewell Juice WRLD

Juice WRLD, the rising Chicago rapper, has passed away at the age of 21. Reportedly, the rapper had a fatal seizure at the Chicago airport last night. Juice WRLD had just flown in from California when he supposedly had a seizure/Cardiac arrest while moving through the airport. The cause of the seizure is yet to be determined.

An ambulance was immediately called into the airport, which took him to the hospital. According to reports, the rapper died shortly after reaching the hospital while other sources cite that the rapper passed away at the airport. Law enforcement sources say he was bleeding from the mouth when paramedics got on scene.

Juice WRLD was one of the many next generation young rappers who got spotted on streaming services before rising to fame. He stepped into the limelight with his songs Lucid Dreams and All Girls Are the Same. His album ‘Death Race for Love’ went to No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart. He also collaborated with various well-known artists, such as Ellie Goulding and Lil Uzivert.

He was singled out as a pioneer in ’emo rap’ – a mix of emo-rock and hip-hop – “Any rap that’s talking about what you’re going through is ‘emo rap,’ ” he once tweeted.

Many of his songs dealt with personal issues like heavy drinking and drug abuse. He revealed that he’d started mixing Codiene, a cough syrup with hard candy at the age of 12.

His songs also feature iconic lyrics like “What’s the 27 Club?// We ain’t making it past 21.” he sang in a lyric, now being branded as disturbingly prophetic. Further, a TikTok video challenge to WRLD’s song Lucid Dreams showed people having seizures, and went viral a week before before Juice’s death showcased people faking that they had seizures while dancing to his music.

The rapper’s death has shocked fans all over the world. Many are in disbelief and suspect foul play in the death. Rest in Peace, Juice WRLD
