First Look of “Map of the Soul ON:E” Concert: Watch Now

BTS' Map of the Soul ON:E is almost here

18 seconds may be a short amount of time. But, for South Korean mega stars, BTS, that’s enough time to announce their arrival in splendid style and steal the hearts of fans world over. The group just dropped the first trailer for their upcoming mega event – an online, on sale concert called “Map of the Soul ON:E”. The event was initially supposed to be both an online and offline night in music. But, it has now been slated as a purely online event in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Virtual World Tour

And, while fans world over can enjoy a night in music, the rush to be a part of the live concert is more intense than ever. Further, the concert, will feature never before seen performances, will be what would have been their “Map of the Soul: 7” tour. The world tour was cancelled in light of the pandemic.

And, so, the excitement surrounding the online live stream spreads far and wide. In addition, “Map of the Soul ON:E” marks the groups second live online concert after their first – “Bang Bang Con” – a few months ago.

Further, the trailer rings true to their concert VCRs in the past – slick and grand. “Map of the Soul ON:E” is slated to take place on the 10th and 11th of October. And, if the trailer is anything to go by, fans can expect a grand show. Some fans even speculate that a few of their classic hits like ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’ will make their way to the stage.

BTS Continues the Hot 100 Reign

In addition to the excitement of the upcoming concert, BTS have more cause to celebrate. The group just landed their sixth week on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart earlier today. Of the six weeks, BTS has spent three (non-consecutive) weeks atop the chart, and three weeks at No. 2. This marks a first for any Korean act in chart history. And, what’s more – the boys landed atop the Billboard 200 Global (Excl. US) chart as well.

Tickets for the “Map of the Soul ON:E” concert are now available on the Weverse shop.
