The seductive, groove-laden single is the first glimpse of Diddy’s fifth studio album, which will be released via the hip-hop mogul’s new label, Love Records, and will be his first since 2006’s ‘Press Play.’ It’s his first solo track since ‘Watcha Gon’ Do?’ with The Notorious B.I.G. and Rick Ross in 2017.

‘Gotta Move’ was initially performed by Diddy (real name Sean Combs) and Tiller at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, which Diddy hosted. As the ceremony began, the star addressed the audience, referring to himself as the event’s ‘vibe curator.’

The rapper and producer’s fifth studio album, and his first since 2006’s ‘Press Play,’ will be his first full-length release on Love Records. The new record will be released this summer. For his new endeavour, he will apparently serve as executive producer, curator and A&R.

An unreleased collaboration between Diddy and The Weeknd was teased in a new ad for Beats By Dre’s wireless earphones and Beats Fit Pro, launched last month.

Kayvon Thibodeaux, a defensive end at the University of Oregon, is featured in the commercial. According to Billboard, a 60-second ad narrated by Thibodeaux’s mother, Shawnta Loice, plays beneath the as-yet nameless and unreleased song.
