Duran Duran To Be Inducted Into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Duran Duran will reconnect with their former guitarist for their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.

Eminem, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, Dolly Parton, Judas Priest, Eurythmics, Carly Simon and Pat Benatar, will all be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2022.

Frontman Simon Le Bon stated that Andy Taylor, the band’s former guitarist and bassist, would be in attendance when questioned about Duran Duran’s plans for their performance at the upcoming ceremony.

Taylor joined the band in 1980 and left in 1986, he later returned in 2000 for 6 years.  Cuccurullo, on the other hand, joined Duran Duran as a session and touring member in 1986 before becoming a permanent member in 1989. In 2001, he left the band.

More than 1000 musicians, historians and music industry experts voted on this year’s Hall of Fame inductees, and each had a tremendous impact on the sound of young culture and helped change the course of rock ‘n’ roll, according to John Sykes, the Rock Hall’s chairman.

The 37th annual induction ceremony for the Hall of Fame will take place on 5th November at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
