Frank Ocean launchs new Queer club in NYC

PrEP+ is Frank Ocean’s new Queer Club Night in New York! PrEP+ is attributed to ‘Blonded’ – the name of Frank’s website, Instagram handle and radio show, takes its name from the HIV prevention drug, ‘pre-exposure prophylaxes’. The Queer Club Night pays homage to what could have been the 1980’s NYC club scene if the drug had been invented in that era.

According to a press release, tickets for the Queer Club Night are released only one day before the event and that the venue will be revealed to ticket holders on the night of the event. Frank Ocean also posted a poster of house rules to be maintained in the club during the event. ‘No photos or videos allowed’, ‘Consent is Mandatory’, ‘Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, or any form of discrimination’, etc. are some of the rules mentioned in the poster.

During the launch of the Queer Club Night, Frank Ocean also revealed to be working on a new album which is influenced buy “Detroit, Chicago, Techno, House, French Electronic and other iterations of nightlife.”
