Frank Ocean outs latest single: DHL

Frank Ocean dropped his new single “DHL” as a surprise at the end of his Beats1 radio show “Blonded Radio” this Saturday.

The new sleepy, downbeat track was produced by Boyz Noize. The fans have combed through Frank’s Instagram and have found that the singer has been referencing the track “DHL” since back in 2018; talk about some serious planning!

The track was made available on streaming sites right after the broadcast of his radio show ended. Ocean also previewed two other songs – “Dear April” and “Cayendo” in his controversial PrEP+ opening party. These tracks aren’t available on streaming sites but can be pre-ordered in vinyl form.

Blonde (2016): After years of waiting for Ocean to drop an album, Frank releases his album “Blonde” following the immediate release of a visual album “Endless” in August 2016 surprising his fans. The fans were not ready for it but left the fans obsessed with the new release.

Chanel (2017): Frank Ocean treated his fans with the release of “Chanel”, a single which he premiered it on the second episode of his “blonded RADIO” show the on Beats 1. The single featured Ocean’s homie A$AP Rocky.

Moon River (2018): Frank Ocean dropped a surprise dreamy cover of the “Breakfast in Tiffany’s” classic sung by Audrey Hepburn “Moon River” in 2018. The rework featured less Hepburn and more melancholy guitar strums along with Ocean’s sweetened voice and harmonies.
