Future Announces New Album ‘High Off Life’

This week has been bustling with news of brand new collabs and albums. Now, adding to that mix is none other than Future. The artist just announced that his upcoming album titled, ‘High Off Life’ is slated to drop this Friday, the 15th. Which, might we remind you, coincides with the release of the Jonas Brothers’ new single ‘X’. So, Friday’s going to result in quite the fight for the spotlight, huh?

The best part about Future’s new album is the fact that it features quite the star-studded cast. Future announced that ‘High Off Life’ will feature DaBaby, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Drake, Meek Mill, Lil Uzi Vert and a number of other artists. As you can see, he’s lined up some of the biggest names from the Rap World. Which means that we can expect this album to be quite the ride from start to finish.

What the Tracklist & Cover Art Offer

It looks like a lot of these featured artists are returning the favour by joining Future on this new project. And that’s because, over 2019, he’s also made guest appearances on some of their tracks. In fact, this January, Future joined forces with Drake for two stand-out tracks. These have even gone on to dominate charts across the globe. The tracks are, ‘Desires’ and ‘Life is Good’ which appear on Drake’s latest mixtape, ‘Dark Lane Demo Tapes’.

Might we also add that Future took to social media to make this big announcement. He revealed not just the album title, release date and cover art, but the tracklist too. The cover art is a simple black and white photograph of Future from what seems like one of his stadium gigs. The tracklist follows the same colour scheme, this time with a photograph of Future with his head hung low.

We’re just two days away from the release, so for now, we can take our time to revel in this fantastic tracklist.
