Garth Brooks And Kelly Clarkson Perform a Candid ‘New York State of Mind’ Duet

Kelly Clarkson travelled to New York City for the season four premiere of her daytime talk show ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, where she was joined by Garth Brooks on the couch.

The crowd applauded in agreement when Clarkson proposed that the duo sing Billy Joel’s ‘New York State of Mind’ while seated alongside country music icon Garth Brooks on a couch. She mentioned that it would be a terrific idea to do so, before Brooks launches into the first verse of the 1976 classic.

The three-time Grammy winner went all out for Kellyoke on her first episode by singing a medley of tunes by Willie Nelson, Madonna, Aretha Franklin and Taylor Swift.
