Gigi Hadid is Happy to Co-Parent With Zayn Malik Despite Their Split Back in 2021

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik split in 2021. However, they continue to co-parent their daughter Khai quite amicably. In a recent interview, Hadid revealed that she finds it easier to balance her work and motherhood with the help of Zayn Malik. She revealed that she schedules her modelling commitments when Malik is taking care of Khai. Even though she did not mention him by name, she did confirm that they share a cordial relationship as parents. 

“That she can be with both parents makes me very happy,” she said about Khai’s relationship with Malik..

The couple started dating in 2015 when Hadid starred in Zayn’s debut solo single, ‘Pillowtalk’. They were later featured in the cover of Vogue in August 2017, nearly three years before Hadid announced she was expecting a child in the spring of 2020. Khai was born in September of the following year, but the couple’s relationship ended shortly after the child’s first birthday in October 2021, when Zayn allegedly got into an argument with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid.

He was then charged with harassment against Yolanda Hadid, and as a consequence, was ordered to complete anger management and domestic violence programs along with a 360 day probation period. 

Zayn Malik is working on his fourth solo album currently. He also signed with UTA for representation in music, film and television among other areas.
