Good deeds are contagious.
And Jared Leto was hoping to spread some around on Tuesday when he revealed his $10,000 donations to two families. The Dallas Buyers Club star tweeted out his completed #GoodThingsChallenge and tagged some of his famous friends to get in on the action.
Jared said it was his friend, music producer, Zedd who nominated him for the #GoodThingsChallenge. He was marked as having donated $5,000 to each fundraiser, while asking his friends to do something good as well.
Jared tagged model and actress Cara Delevigne, Imagine Dragon’s front-man Dan Reynolds and The Chainsmoker’s Drew Taggart. He went on to explain the conditions of those he donated to, from a car accident to surviving burns.
‘Zaid survived [severe] burns as a two year old when his bed accidentally caught fire, ‘ the ’30 Seconds to Mars’ singer wrote of his first donation. ‘The funds will be used for functional surgeries and potential reconstructive procedures.’
Zaid’s Fundraiser has raised over $290,000 of a $100,000 goal.
