A 17-year-old teenager in Oxfordshire was arrested in connection to the hack, but as Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, emphasized, this incident did not impact the game’s development.

During a recent earnings call, ‘Take-Two Interactive’’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, delved into the potential of AI technology to revolutionize game development, particularly for sprawling titles like ‘GTA 6.’ Zelnick acknowledges that AI tools can increase efficiency and enable developers to accomplish tasks that were previously unattainable. However, he also underlines that these tools are not exclusive to Rockstar, and the competitive landscape in the gaming industry will be greatly affected.
