Hailee Steinfeld Calls ‘Sinners’ Role ‘The One I Had Been Waiting For’

Fans are getting a first peek at Hailee Steinfeld’s eagerly awaited new movie, ‘Sinners’.
The 28-year-old singer and actress expressed her enthusiasm for the project in a recent ‘Who What Wear’ interview, calling it an experience that will last a lifetime. She views this position as the one she has been waiting for and thinks it will be the start of a new phase in her career that will enable her to work on many more projects of this nature.
In Ryan Coogler’s vampire thriller, Steinfeld co-stars with Michael B. Jordan. Although her character’s specifics are still unknown, the most recent teaser for Mary suggests that she might be interested in one of Jordan’s dual personalities before exposing a darker side.
Looking back at the script, Steinfeld recalled a gut instinct that this was a unique chance. She compared her enthusiasm upon landing the role to her adolescent cast moment in ‘True Grit’, for which she received an Oscar nomination.

“Her performance will surprise audiences and show a new side of her talent,” Jordan said, praising Steinfeld’s versatility throughout the movie. He emphasized how the arduous filming process united the actors like a family and characterized her as a committed and diligent scene partner.
Delroy Lindo, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Miller, Jayme Lawson, and Jack O’Connell are also in the film. Sinners tracks Jordan’s twin characters as they go back to their birthplace in hopes of starting again, only to find an even more sinister force awaiting them.
On 18th April, the movie will be released in theatres.
