Hailey’s got some Petals up he Sleeve

The new decade is promising a lot of great music and we can add Paramore’s Hayley Williams to that mix! She’s launching her solo era with quite the bang, as she just dropped a haunting teaser for her upcoming single on Instagram, giving us no more information about what to expect.

What we do know, is that her new solo project appears to be called, ‘Petals For Armor’, and the mysterious teaser was dropped not only on Instagram but on an odd new website, called petalsforarmor.com. The clip features a silver moon peeking through the branches of a tree and all we can hear isn’t the song, instead it’s simply Hayley’s heavy breathing. The clip ends with a simple “1-22-2020,” which means we should find out what Petals For Armor is all about on January 22nd.

The new Instagram account, also called Petals For Armor, gives us no hints either as it’s just filled with close-up shots of flowers and plants. There’s clearly a running theme here, but we’re still left in the dark about the details. Interestingly enough, fans have started spotting Petals For Armor posters in major cities around the U.S, with the project’s title and an image of Williams. Alright, this is almost starting to sound like some strange cult activity! But, it looks like Williams has taken a lot of time to plan out every step of this solo project and honestly, we’re loving every minute of it.

In fact, Williams began her masterplan way back in December itself! She rang in her 31st birthday with the news that she’d be releasing solo music at the top of the year. “I’m putting out some music next year,” she wrote in a screenshot from her Notes app. “With the help of some of my closest friends; I made something I’m going to call my own. It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January.”

Well, we honestly cannot wait. We’re literally counting down the days and perhaps Hayley’s really enjoying watching us sit at the edge of our seats!
