Halle Bailey Shares Her Top Travel Hack for More Comfortable Flights

Halle Bailey prioritizes comfort when travelling, as she revealed in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. The 24-year-old singer and actress shared her go-to travel hack that helps her stay comfortable during trips: “I’m a bit of a germaphobe, so I always bring sanitizing wipes,” Bailey explained. She also keeps her mask on while navigating airports, appreciating the added privacy and protection it provides.

Her travel essentials include oversized sunglasses and comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. “I have to wear big shades and only huge sweats — comfort is key,” she says.

Bailey, who’s partnered with Marriott Bonvoy Bold Credit Card from Chase for their Bold Chat Court contest, is an avid traveller with favourite destinations like Saint Lucia, the Maldives, and Bora Bora. She’s eager to explore new places too, with Ghana, Greece, and Bali at the top of her bucket list.

Travel has always played a significant role in Bailey’s life, particularly due to her entertainment career. She recalls flying to Los Angeles for the first time at just five or six years old for pilot season, which marked the start of her journey toward achieving her dreams.

Looking ahead, Bailey has work trips planned for New York and London but hopes to squeeze in a leisure trip to Mexico before the end of October, before the colder weather sets in.
