Halsey has delivered her promised masterpieces! She just dropped two new tracks from her upcoming album ‘Manic’ and both are poles apart in terms of sound and concept.
She announced to fans that her new tracks are two wildly different ones! Two dreamy stories. Two very dreamy stories.” The first one “Finally a beautiful stranger” sounds similar to Lady Gaga’s “You and I”, this country guitar led song is shot in two settings where Halsey performs in a dingy empty bar and the second in a bright lit up room. The music video is a playground of contradictions where elements and feelings are juxtaposed.
Her next most awaited collab track with Suga from BTS is titled “Suga’s Interlude”. This song is accompanied by a minimalist video! An ambient, lilting tune, “SUGA’s Interlude” features Halsey and Suga pairing off as they reflect on the difficulties of achieving their goals and dreams. Her collaboration with the South Korean rapper comes after her collaboration on the BTS bop “Boy With Luv” earlier this year.
She also generously unveiled the full ‘Manic’ track list, which spans 16 songs, including the previously released “Without Me,” “Graveyard,” and “Clementine.” Along with Suga, the album appears to include features from singer Dominic Fike (“Dominic’s Interlude”) and living legend Alanis Morissette (“Alanis’ Interlude”).
The star also unveiled the first slew of tour dates for 2020, including European stops in Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Scotland and Ireland.
We can’t wait for the album to drop, and it looks like Hasley isn’t giving us a minute to breathe!
