Halsey, Law and Broken Ankles – What do they Have in Common?
Halsey recently dished out details on what her life in quarantine has been like. So, here’s what we know after a thorough glance at her social media pages. First off, it almost seems as though she’s preparing to audition for the next season of ‘Master Chef’. And that’s because she recently prepared homemade quiche and some fresh spinach butternut squash ravioli. Yup, sounds delicious but also ridiculously hard to cook.
And that’s why, it looks like her kitchen shenanigans have led to a rather odd accident. To put it plainly, she broke her ankle. In the kitchen. While doing the dishes. Now, you’re probably wondering how in the world that happened. But we’ve got you covered. Here’s how it went down, “I was loading the dishwasher and I pulled the door down to load the dishwasher and the kitchen floor was wet and I tripped over the dishwasher door. And after 2,000 live shows where I’m jumping around for two hours I finally fractured my ankle in the kitchen at my house,” Halsey explained in a recent interview.
A little after this, a fan made the mistake of asking the singer how her recovery process has been. And Halsey had this to say, “I was doing okay till I broke 2 toes on the other foot,” she tweeted in response to the fan “So now I have a cast on left foot and 2 broken toes on right foot. Waddling like a penguin.” Honestly, how in the world is she getting into these accidents? At home?? Anyway, we too hope she has a speedy recovery.
What Else Has Halsey Been Up To in Quarantine?
But while we’re on the topic of her quarantine shenanigans, she also mentioned that she has been obsessively watching Avatar – which we completely relate to, binge-watching is the way to survive this lockdown.
Oh and here’s the cherry on this absolutely bizarre cake – it appears that Halsey is also studying law so she can gradually take the California bar exam. At this point, nothing surprises us anymore. The star has always been very vocal about her opinions on equality, the lgbtq community and other political issues, so her recent endeavors aren’t exactly as strange as they sound.
On that note, these updates have kept us thoroughly entertained and we hope to hear more from her. Aside from all her Final Destination-type accidents.
