Halsey Will Star in ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Live Concert

Hollywood Bowl has a storied history of hosting memorable events, and this upcoming production is undoubtedly destined to be another unforgettable moment in the venue’s illustrious legacy. Halsey, known for her dynamic vocal range and unmatchable stage presence, is the perfect choice to lead this live concert experience.

Halsey is set to grace the stage of the iconic Hollywood Bowl in a live concert adaptation of Tim Burton’s beloved classic. ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ has retained its cultural impact since its release in 1993. Its unique blend of macabre and heartwarming storytelling has gathered a large following that spans generations.

Halsey will take on the role of Sally in a stage adaptation of ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ this month. This live production, celebrating the film’s 30th anniversary, will run for three nights at the Hollywood Bowl from 27th to 29th October. Halsey will take on the role of Sally on the first two nights, while the movie’s original voice actor, Catherine O’Hara, will take over on the third night. It’s yet to be confirmed whether Halsey will voice Sally throughout or only provide the character’s singing voice.

Joining Halsey in this spooky production is a cast that includes Danny Elfman, the original film’s songwriter, reprising the role of Jack Skellington. Fred Armisen will play Lock, and Ken Page will take on the role of Oogie Boogie.

In addition to her upcoming role in ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ live adaptation, Halsey has been teasing her fifth album on social media. In a cryptic post in September, Halsey hinted at the intense creative process, captioning, “Not pictured: me splitting myself in two every day so that I can give you my deepest wounds (and a handful of perfect joys) for the 5th time in 10 years.” This may implicate an album about deep and personal themes.

Halsey’s previous album, ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power,’ released in 2021, earned widespread acclaim, with critics describing it as a “defiant artistic statement of their singular talent,” acknowledging its intensity and compelling nature. Halsey’s ability to embody different genres and create complex music makes her a good choice for this live-action.

Moreover, Halsey recently collaborated with BTS’ Suga on ‘Lilith’ for ‘Diablo 4’, the upcoming role-playing game. Halsey’s ongoing music career continues to evolve and entertain new audiences, making her a multi-talented artist to watch in the entertainment industry.

Halsey’s upcoming role as Sally in ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ live adaptation at the Hollywood Bowl is a highly anticipated event for fans of both the artist and the iconic film. With a talented cast and Halsey’s dynamic presence, it promises to be a memorable celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary.
