Harrison Ford Attends SAG Awards Solo – The Reason Calista Flockhart Was Missing

Harrison Ford explained why Calista Flockhart, his wife, was not present at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

‘The Indiana Jones’ star clarified that Flockhart was in New York working on a play during the red carpet appearance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, which was covered by PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly.  She is currently appearing in the late Sam Shepard’s production of ‘Curse of the Starving Class’.

Ford wasn’t alone on the occasion, even though he wasn’t with his wife.  Jason Segel and his co-stars, who play Dr. Paul Rhoades in Apple TV+’s ‘Shrinking’, joined the actor.  Ford remarked on how unique the experience had been for him after considering the audience’s reaction to the performance.  He revealed that instead of requesting pictures or autographs, people frequently come up to him to express how much they love the series.

Although ‘Only Murders in the Building’ won, ‘Shrinking’ was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in Comedy Series.  Martin Short, star of ‘Only Murders’, defeated Ford in the competition for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series.

Even though he didn’t win, Ford had a good time that evening.  His co-star Jessica Williams’ participation in the SAG Awards’ well-known ‘I Am an Actor’ opening portion was one of the night’s funniest moments.  Ford was seen nibbling a cracker in the background while giving her speech, which made the audience giggle.  Observing the response, Williams jokingly said that she had told him to turn aside.

Co-created by Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence, Shrinking’s first and second seasons are now available for streaming on Apple TV+.
