Stage fright is an unimaginable thought for the TikToker who gained fame for singing ‘badly’ in front of A-list musicians, including the President of the United States. For him, this unconventional approach was a deliberate part of a "concise plan" towards achieving musical success.
In an exclusive interview, he reflects on the unusual trajectory his career has taken since he first approached Sabrina Carpenter, asking if he could sing for her. This bold move, intended to "embarrass" himself and make a memorable impression, quickly became his signature. The phrase "Can I sing for you?" has since become synonymous with his persona, earning him over a million followers across various social media platforms.

Daniels’ journey began at a meet-and-greet with Carpenter, where he impulsively decided to showcase his singing skills, having nothing to say to her at the time. "I was literally learning the lyrics to 'Skin' on the line," he recalls.
With his friends recording the performance, he uploaded the clip to TikTok, which quickly amassed hundreds of thousands of views. "I got people to respond," he says, marking the beginning of a viral trend that would define his future videos.

His interactions with celebrities are often spontaneous, with Daniels approaching them in various unexpected settings, from streets to restaurants. "I think every reaction's a little bit awkward," he admits, noting that this awkwardness adds to the charm and appeal of his videos. He estimates that "98% of the time" the responses are positive or neutral.
As his notoriety grew, so did his opportunities. Daniels recalls, "Megan Thee Stallion came to town, and I did it again, which got an even bigger response... And so I just kept doing it." He has since sung for the likes of Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and even former President Barack Obama, solidifying his unique place in the entertainment world.
