Harry Styles is Set to Take The Stage Only in August 2021

As the global coronavirus pandemic rages on, it looks like we’ll have to strap in for the long haul. And so, many musicians have decided to push tour dates to 2021, which ideally is a much safer option. Among these artists is none other than the former One Direction star, Harry Styles.

He has pushed back his ‘Love On Tour’ North American Tour to next summer. The tour was, in fact, set to kick off on June 26th at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. But now, Styles is going to take the stage only in August, 2021. So, while this does seem awfully far away, not all news is bad news. While Harry’s opening acts will remain the same, he has also prepared a dance party of sorts. New York fans are in for a treat as the ‘Harryween Fancy Dress Party’ is set to take place over October 30-31st in Madison Square Garden. And we can bet, Harry’s going to go all out with his costume.

Harry took to Instagram to announce this news as he put up his tour poster which features just the ends of his white trouser and black shoes, descending upon the tour dates. He also filled in a detailed caption, explaining his actions and urging people to simply, treat each other with kindness.

“This summer we were excited to be bringing Love On Tour to North America. However, due to the ongoing threat from Covid-19 we have been forced to reschedule these dates to next summer. The well-being of my crew, and all the fans around the world will always hold top priority. I can’t wait to see you all out on the road, as soon as it’s safe to do so.”

Harry Styles Addresses the #BlackLivesMatter Movement

The Englishman continued by addressing the fight for racial justice taking place in every corner of the world.

“We are in a moment of necessary change and growth in the world. I will be using this time to listen, and to educate myself on how I can help more in the fight for justice and equal rights for all in the future. I hope that you will take the time to do the same. Treat people with kindness. I love you all. H.”

Speaking of the #BlackLivesMatter Movement, Harry Styles was recently spotted kneeling with fellow protesters in LA. Artists have now completely shifted their focus to fighting for justice and urging people to vote. While new music and tours might have taken a backseat, right now it’s for the best.
