A flying object was seen hitting Harry Styles at a concert in Vienna recently. This is one of the latest in the incidents where stage performers have been struck by things thrown from the crowd. Videos were shared by the attendees of the Vienna, Austria concert where Styles was seen strolling up the stage catwalk and waving to his fans.
Out of nowhere, he got struck by a flying object and recoiled. The artist was seen bringing his hand to his eyes and pausing on the steps, before continuing to walk off-stage. It’s still unclear what the object was, but Madison Ford who attended the concert and shared videos of the incident mentioned that it appeared to be a rose, where the stem hit the singer’s eye.
According to Ford, the singer was evidently hurt. The object was thrown towards the end of the concert, and Harry even completed the last 25 minutes of his set after the incident had occurred.
“Rudest people ever,” Ford captioned a tweet accompanying a video of the incident.
The attendees were extremely displeased with the situation. Harry was initially struck on the face by Skittles last November and also with a can of Red Bull back in 2015.
In addition to Harry, Kelsea Ballerini, Bebe Rexha and Pink have had objects thrown at them during their gigs
Rexha was hospitalized recently after she was hit by a cellphone leaving a lasting blue and black eye. Nicolas Malvagna got arrested for the incident. According to his attorney, Malvagna never intended to harm the artist. Apparently, he just wanted the singer to take photos with his phone and return it as a keepsake.
Ava Max was also injured last month during her concert, when an attendee jumped on the stage and slapped her. She described in a tweet later on, that he hit her so hard that he scratched the inside of her eye.
