Hayley Williams Makes an offering

Haley Williams is on the long list of artists that have promised us new music! Just recently, she hinted that her solo project titled, Petals for Armor, would launch on Jan 22nd and well, that’s literally just a day away! While she didn’t reveal too many details, it looks we’ll get a taste of Petals for Armor through, possibly, one of her title tracks which is named, ‘Simmer’.

The Paramore frontwoman took to Twitter to break the news as she commented,

“my first offering: ‘SIMMER’ drops 1.22.20,”

“see you then.”

Williams has been hinting at the launch of her new solo era for quite a while. In fact, on her birthday, she even revealed that she would be releasing new music in January 2020 as a part of her new solo project. Williams tweeted, , “…I made something I’m going to call my own. It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January.”

And it looks like she’s stuck to her word! There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding her project as it seems to be shrouded in mystery. And along the way, Williams has been dropping clues. It started off with an Instagram account called, Petals For Armour, which simply had photos of flowers, before the teaser videos started dropping.

The vocalist then shared a black image with a caption many believed was the first lyric reveal: “how to draw the line between wrath and mercy.”

A few days later, she didn’t give us a minute to breathe, returning with yet another lyric, that read “nothing cuts like a mother.”

She shared two more images in the following days reading, “if i had seen my reflection as something more precious” and “wrap yourself in petals”. Well, clearly there’s a lot of build up before the track drops and there’s no doubt that Hayley will deliver!
