‘Hello’ by Adele Reaches 3 Billion Views On YouTube

Adele’s first video to earn 3 billion views is the one with the record for the fastest video to gain 1 billion views!

The Xavier Dolan-directed video continues to hold the record for the fastest time to achieve the 1 billion mark on YouTube. It is also Adele’s first video to earn 3 billion views on the platform. ‘Hello’ garnered an amazing 50 million views in its first 48 hours, earning it the title of the most explosive launch of any video at the time of the visual’s release. At its height, the breathtaking video received up to 1.6 million views in a single hour!

The song, which Adele co-wrote with producer and songwriter Greg Kurstin, was made available as the third studio album’s lead single in October 2015. The song enjoyed a lengthy run on the Billboard charts, spending 26 weeks there, 10 of them at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
