Hotel Employee’s 911 Call Regarding Liam Payne Incident Released
Details of the 911 call regarding the late Liam Payne have been released. The former One Direction singer tragically passed away on 16th October at the age of 31, after reportedly falling from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina. CNN later confirmed the British artist’s death through a statement from local authorities.
According to the Mail Online, the head of reception at the hotel allegedly made the 911 call, describing Payne as a guest who is severely intoxicated on dr*gs and alc*hol.
Additionally, it was reported that the head of reception continued by stating that “when he is conscious he is destroying everything in the room,” adding: “We need you to send someone, please.’”

The head of reception also allegedly informed the operator that assistance was needed “urgently,” expressing concern with the statement: “I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. They must be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little bit worried he’ll do something, that he’ll put his life at risk.’
The operator reportedly confirmed that the local medical emergency service (SAME) would be dispatched. Initially, local police told Reuters they were called to the hotel in Palermo after receiving a report about an “aggressive man who may have been under the influence of dr*gs and alc*hol,” though the individual was not identified as Payne at the time.
In a later statement to Rolling Stone, SAME confirmed that Payne had fallen from a height of “around 13 or 14 meters” and had sustained “severe injuries incompatible with life.”

Tributes have poured in for the singer, with Harry Styles’ mother sharing a message on Instagram:
“Just a boy…”. Meanwhile, Zayn Malik’s sister Waliyha shared an old picture of herself with Liam, writing: “I can’t believe it, I honestly have no words for this sad moment… I really can’t believe it.”
Payne had previously spoken openly about his time in rehab, which followed the backlash from controversial remarks he made about his former One Direction bandmates that went viral.
During an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast in June 2023, Payne claimed that one of his former bandmates had once thrown him “up a wall.”
He later apologized for the comments, admitting that his actions were “a desperate attempt to remain relevant.” Payne then shared that he had taken some time “away” to attend a facility in Louisiana to “clear his mind.”
