How Lady Gaga and Fiancé Michael Polansky Maintain Normalcy in Their Relationship

Despite living in the public eye, Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, are putting their relationship’s normalcy first. The tech investor talked candidly about managing their public connection and valuing their private, quiet times together in her February ELLE cover story.

The hardest part, according to Polansky, has been getting used to the lack of privacy that Gaga’s celebrity entails. But the change has gone more smoothly for him because of her tolerance and comfort with their situation. According to him, their relationship is much like any other, with the extra difficulty of handling certain parts in public. Strong family ties and friendships are very important to them to keep everything in balance.

The pair likes to do easy, cosy things like roasting food or making noodles. Gaga, 38, said that she and Polansky’s mother, who lives nearby, frequently cook together. She refers to her time on stage as “everyday poetry” and says that her time with Polansky, friends, and their dogs is just as significant.

Following the 2020 Super Bowl, Gaga and Polansky made their romance public. Months later, they announced their engagement. Later that year, they debuted on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. According to a source, they had a supportive relationship in which Polansky supported Gaga’s career while concentrating on his own business endeavours.

Polansky even assisted in the composition of seven of the tracks on Gaga’s upcoming album, ‘Mayhem’. While juggling his work, he relished the opportunity to spend time with her at the local studio.

When Gaga thought back to their early dating days, she remembered Polansky telling her how unique she was when the cameras were not there—a sentiment she cherishes. She referred to him as her best friend and partner in an interview with PEOPLE in September 2024, expressing her love for him and stressing the life-changing experience of being with someone so close.
