Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Enjoy Cozy Dinner Date in L.A.
Recently, Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were seen having a good time together in Santa Monica, California. Arriving hand in hand, the two former ‘Music Man’ costars, who had previously shared the Broadway stage in the popular revival, gave off a laid-back and upbeat attitude. Jackman, 56, donned a dark jacket over a grey shirt and white jeans to keep his outfit casual, while Foster, 49, who recently received praise for her roles in the Broadway and L.A. productions of ‘Once Upon a Mattress’, chose an olive dress with a brown trench coat.
Foster and Jackman are both negotiating new phases in their private lives. After 27 years of marriage, Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness announced their separation in September 2023. In October 2023, Foster also filed for divorce from screenwriter Ted Griffin, her spouse of ten years. Both celebrities seemed cheerful during their evening together despite these life adjustments. Regarding the excursion, their reps have not yet responded.

Jackman had been to one of the last showings of Foster’s ‘Once Upon a Mattress’ at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles just two days earlier, in January. The renowned actress Carol Burnett, who played Foster in the original 1959 staging of the musical, joined him in the audience. The audience erupted in cheers as Burnett waved and blew kisses to the audience during the performance, and Jackman was seen filming a unique moment.
Their previous collaborations have demonstrated the mutual admiration that Jackman and Foster have for one another. The two costarred in the Broadway production of ‘Music Man’ in 2022, which took place between December 2021 and January 2023.
In his frequent compliments, Foster has called Jackman one of the “greatest guys ever” and an “incredible costar.” In response, Jackman acknowledged that he was first scared by Foster’s remarkable resume but has since voiced his love for her talent.

Both celebrities have handled their personal life changes with poise. In 2023, Jackman announced his divorce from Furness, saying that although their nearly three-decade marriage was full of love and appreciation, they had decided to focus on their personal development. Likewise, in October, Foster filed for a divorce from Griffin at the Supreme Court of New York County.
Jackman is currently preparing for his upcoming endeavour, which will be a run of live performances at Radio City Music Hall called ‘From New York, with Love’. Beginning on 24th January 2025, the performances will commemorate his comeback to the stage as he starts this new chapter in his life and career.
