Icons of The Music Industry come together On New Year’s Eve

Dick Clarke’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is an annual new year’s eve tradition, famous all around the world and followed by millions. Each year the event boasts the industry’s biggest stars to countdown the minutes to the new year. From Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber to Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus, pop’s heavyweights have taken the stage and made it their own for those few moments until the end of the year.

This time was no different. The end of the decade saw a star lineup of performers bringing the new year with some stellar performances. The artist lineup saw industry icons like Dua Lipa, Post Malone, BTS and The Jonas Brothers taking the stage this year.

BTS, known for being all round performers – wowed audiences with their songs Boy With Luv and Make it Right. Dua Lipa stunned on stage with a performance of her latest single from the upcoming album “Future Nostalgia” – Don’t Start Now.

Aside from the stunning performances and the chance to watch pop artists live, the event offers one of the most grand countdowns to the new year possible. Filled with cheering, a splendid show of fireworks and the legendary ball drop, the event wowed audiences world over. The fireworks were caught on camera by the BTS members, as they shared the special moment on their social media soon after.

This coming together of our favourite stars and a grand celebration of a year gone by makes us want to skip right ahead to the end of the year again.
