In a New Documentary, Bon Scott’s Brother Talks For The First Time

A new documentary about late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott has been released, which you can see below.

Scott’s family and friends offer fresh insights into his vulnerabilities and state of mind before his untimely death at the age of 33 in 1980, according to the latest episode of ABC documentary series Australian Story.

The episode includes insights from Jimmy Barnes, John Brewster of The Angels and Johnny Young of Young Talent Time, as well as the first-ever interview with Scott’s younger brother Derek.

The 37-minute documentary is also introduced by Brian Johnson, Scott’s successor as AC/ DC’s lead singer.

Last year, on what would have been Scott’s 75th birthday, his family launched a website featuring stories and tributes from renowned rock stars.

Bruce Howe, Scott’s former bandmate in Fraternity, said in the documentary that when Scott was bored, he was at his most vulnerable.
