In ‘Wait For U’ Video, Drake and Future Return to Medieval Times

Future and Drake have released a new video for their collaboration ‘Wait For U,’ which is inspired by medieval times. Future’s latest album, ‘I Never Liked You,’ was released on 29th April and includes a tune that samples Tems.

Moxie Raia, Drake, Future, producer ATL Jacob, model Cece Rose, rapper Strick and comedian Trey Richards star in the video for ‘Wait For U,’ which was directed by Director X and produced by Taj Critchlow. It was released on 5th May.

The footage is set in the medieval era and follows Future as he struggles with his relationship with his queen in ‘The Tale of the Toxic King.’ Meanwhile, Drake may be seen riding a horse and saving a woman’s life in the video.

Kodak Black, Gunna, Young Thug and Ye make guest appearances on Future’s ‘I Never Liked You.’ Last week, a video for the Ye collaboration ‘Keep It Burnin’ was released.

Future’s latest album follows up on his 2020 album ‘High Off Life,’ which included Travis Scott, Drake, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Meek Mill and others. Drake secured a significant new agreement with Universal Music Group earlier this week, according to reports.

In a Q1 earnings call, UMG chairman Sir Lucian Grainge announced the deal, according to Variety. The arrangement with Drake was described as an extensive, multi-faceted deal with the corporation that spans recordings, publishing, merchandise, and visual media projects according to the outlet.
