India’s Greenest Music Festival is Here!

We’re partnering with Echoes of Earth, India’s greenest music festival!

Every year, the festival takes place in an area sprinkled with lush greenery and presents a stellar line-up of numerous International and Indian musicians. This is a festival that assembles people from all walks of life and unites them with great music, stunning installations and the simple lesson of sustainability.

The festival is supported by the pillars of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ – using old, discarded and recycled media in the most unique and creative ways. Here, not only are artists performing in a safe-green space, but the entire infrastructure at the festival, including the stage (solar powered), is constructed adopting environmentally conscious practices.

Speaking of the infrastructure and installations, 80% of this is put together by artists using recycled materials collected from junk yards. These installations bring the festival grounds to life, while also displaying a more accessible form of art. Echoes of Earth is a safe environment where people have the freedom to explore, and open up to others. It takes place every year, in the hopes that people takeaway not just the music, but also a simple observation of the sustainable practices carried out by this festival. It also ensures that through workshops, and initiatives, people are educated on how to live their life in the greenest manner possible.

This event’s happening over the 7th and 8th of December at the Embassy International Riding School. On the first day, you can catch some brilliant artists like Acid Pauli, Fakear and Viken Arman. On day two, you can keep an eye out for Squarepusher, the Shigeto Live Ensemble, Mathame and many more! This will be an experience like no other, and is not worth missing out on. Oh, but before you make your way to the festival , shed all that plastic first, because the grounds are a plastic-free zone!
