Is Ariana Grande Leaving Pop Music? Singer Breaks Her Silence
It appears that Ariana Grande and her fans are relishing this new phase of her career as she embraces her comeback to acting. Her visibility in the music industry may take a backseat to her intense output over the past 10 years, even as she continues to pursue her passion for performing on stage and television.
Grande talked about her future in music when she appeared on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in November and again on Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers’ Las ‘Culturistas’ podcast. She made a suggestion that she would slow down, admitting that although she will continue to make pop songs, she doesn’t see herself continuing at the same rate as she has for the past decade. She talked about how her priorities have changed and how it has been enjoyable to get back in touch with her comedic and musical theatre background. It has been therapeutic for her to revisit that aspect of herself, which has enabled her to use her skills in new roles, characters, and endeavours.

Grande, who started out in the musical theatre, expressed how excited she is to play parts that allow her to honour the content and deliver her best performance. As she discussed the significance of this journey and emphasised that she wanted to select roles and projects that genuinely speak to her, her emotions came to the surface.
Grande demonstrated her acting and singing abilities on stage in shows including ‘Annie’, ‘Beauty and the Beast’, and ‘The Wizard of Oz’ prior to becoming a worldwide pop sensation. Her foundation as a versatile performer was further cemented when she made an appearance in the ‘Broadway musical 13’. She is now rekindling her passion for performing and musical theatre while utilising her skills in novel and rewarding ways.
