Is Diplo Affected By Corona ?

DJ and producer Diplo has gone into self isolation, saying goodbye to his sons and mother until he’s certain that he’s negative of the virus.

He took to his Instagram, sharing a post encouraging all his followers and fans to actively take part in the fight against the virus. Speaking on empathy and community support he wrote “Think about others in every decision you make in the coming weeks. This isn’t A drill.. We already have enough news from Italy Iran Korea and China about the best ways to slow this.. We need to be smart, going out and interacting with groups is canceled, but kindness is not canceled, Love is not canceled, empathy is not canceled.”

Amid the now confirmed pandemic, many musicians and celebrities have taken to social media to be vocal about the act of social distancing and the collective responsibility we face as citizens, at a time like this. As a DJ and public figure, Diplo has been in contact with thousands of people over the past few weeks, and so, made the decision to self isolate in light of the growing intensity of the virus.

Speaking of his situation at home, he wrote “They live in a house with their grandmother who is the most vulnerable. I have been in contact with hundreds of people in the past four weeks… And I’m staying away from the house until I am cleared of the virus. This hurts because I miss them so much they are what makes me wake up every day and live and breath, they are my ultimate joy, but this is my sacrifice to make sure everyone around me is safe.”

Well, protecting himself, his sons and his mother? Yep, we should all take a note out of Diplo’s book!
