Lil Baby’s added yet another feather to his cap and this time, it’s a big one. He’s landed his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 charts with ‘My Turn’.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. And ‘My Turn’ earned a good 197,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending March 5th. The set was also streamed a whopping 261 million times in the first seven days the full-length was available, which is no small feat.
‘My Turn’ is the rapper’s fifth charting album, which simply proves that his other projects have also made their significant mark on the charts. And this includes, Street Gossip (No. 2, December 2018), Drip Harder with Gunna (No. 4, October 2018) and Harder Than Ever (No. 3, June 2018).
Before the album arrived, the rapper had already treated his fans with the singles, “Woah” and “Sum 2 Prove,” which have gone on to dominate charts across the world. So, it won’t be surprising if a couple more tracks off ‘My Turn’ make their way to the Hot 100 charts too.
Lil Baby is just one of numerous artists fighting to claim that number one spot and hopefully, he can enjoy his time under the spotlight for as long as possible!–
